Make-A-Wish
Make-A- Wish Foundation and Riverbanks Zoo teamed up to bring Mindy and her family to Columbia to visit the Koala’s.
Mindy has cystic fibrosis and diabetes, so when the Make-A-Wish folks asked what Mindy most wanted to do, the answer was simple. Pet a koala. Because Riverbanks is one of the few zoos in the country with koalas and Make-A-Wish has a good relationship with Riverbanks, the foundation set up a trip for the Zaleski family to Columbia.
Since Koala’s are her favorite, we were able to contribute a basket of hand deocrated sugar cookie Koala’s for Mindy and her family to enjoy at the hotel during their stay.
Cookie Swap Awards
How fun are cookie swaps?
New cookies to try, new recipes, and meeting new friends. Tami has had a cookies swap for 20 years! Yes, 20 years. So this was definitely a special event.
She wanted to give a hand decorated sugar cookie award to the friends that had participated in the cookie swap the longest. First place was 10 years in attendance and there were 3 tied for second with 9 years. Wow!

Dalmation’s
Happy Birthday Max!
Max turned “3″ and his Mom was planning a firetruck theme. But, she already had tons of firetrucks! Sooo, her idea was to create hand decorated sugar cookie dalmatian puppies. What a great idea!
We finished them off with a red collar and tied them with black and white checked ribbon. Max gave them to all of his friends as favors after the party.
Welcome Baby Boy
It is a baby shower!
We did some fun mini hand decorated sugar cookies for this baby boy’s mom and friends. Decorated in blues and lime green, we did a combination of stripes and swirls as well as the “boy” cookies.
We always like to do some centerpiece cookies as well to complete a large tray of cookies. You will see that we included onesies, baby carriage and a baby bottle. All with the same color scheme.
Graduation in December
Congratulations USC Grad!
Family and friends gathered at a local restaurant for dinner to celebrate the big day. These hand decorated sugar cookies were placed at each place setting in honor of the graduate. Decorated in black and garnet for the University of South Carolina.

Thanksgiving Placecards
We had some fun this Thanksgiving!
We offered hand decorated sugar cookie place cards embellished with a sugar turkey or cornucopia. All you need to do is provide us with the names!
